BASIC QUSTIONS & ANSWERS
GIVING
The kind of giving that comes from the heart: See a need, fill a need
No. The original intent of the project was based on the barter system. Participants in the program have had some extraordinary experiences with synchronicity via agreed upon equal exchange, but still simply want to GIVE. Bartering is not required
The entirety of the natural world (nature and creation), only exists because of one simple rule/law, and even this one simple rule/law extends from Love: equal interchange. This creates balance, and balance creates life. Too often, as individuals, we give more than we take, or take more than we give--this has a tendency to cause internal unbalances that affect us emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically. The original intent of a bartering system, was to ensure that *both* parties had the opportunity to give back to each other equally in a balanced way.
No. Money isn't involved.
No. The SOL Project is nothing but a portal I provide to connect people that I strongly feel will only find, or connect with eachother, becuase it was always intended to happen. Any exchanges that take place (if there is a two-way exchange) is privately agreed upon between the parties involved.
As stated, simply to provide a connective portal, and encourage people to get involved in the art of giving. Members of the SOL Project are not obligated to tell me, or anyone else, who they help, assist, or give to. Unless those involved in interchanges email me privately to share their experiences of giving/receiving, I am not personally involved in the process.
Because it's time. :)
It's easy, and there are no fees of any kind. You can either use the Contact Page found under the Home tab, or you can email me directly at crystal@thesolsociety.com. Here's what I need to know:
1. What your offering is
2. How you would like to be contacted
3. If there is anything specific you would like to barter for in exchange (recommended but not required)
Examples can be found on the SOL Project Listings Page for more information.
Yes--there are several.
NEVER invite anyone to your own home to make an exchange.
If an equal exchange is agreed upon that requires goods to be shipped, I *highly* recommend using a shipping method that provides tracking numbers and proof of delivery.
I don't recommend giving out personal phone numbers or personal addresses. What I do recommend however, is that you create an email account specifically for requests for you givings.
Only YOU can answer that. For more information that might be helpful, beyond what I expressed in depth in later chapters of the first book (WAWR 101), please take a moment to read the information found in the column to the right of this Q&A section.
You can complain to me if you like, and if the situation merits my intercession, I'll do what I can. However, the TRUE purpose of GIVING, is *never* done with an expectation of getting something in return--not at the soul level. If you're considering joining the SOL Project for any other purpose than freely giving something to help others (even if an exchange was agreed upon), which in turn lifts us ALL up, perhaps the Project is not for you. Also, keep in mind that if YOU fail to live up to your own end of the bargain, I'll hear about that as well! Individuals who join the SOL Project will be expected to adhere to higher standards than simple greed, and they will immediately be expelled from the program if they cannot live up to those expectations.
None have been reported--quite the opposite. All of their contact information can be found in the SOL Project Listings Page should you like to contact them directly to ask.
I don't have an answer for that. What I can say however, is that the SOL Project is entirely a grass roots effort that will expand primarily via word of mouth. It hasn't grown nearly as fast as I hoped it would--you can change that.
There are likely several different reasons, but i'll quickly share my thoughts and experiences in this regard.
First, all of my work is self-puslished; there are no major media outlets advertising it. This was intentional and I prefer this because so many of my own life experiences have taught me that real change HAS to be a grass roots effort--it must come from the bottom up, not the top down.
Second, making the transition from taking to giving is more difficult than people realize, because it goes against everything we've been taught for so many generations. This must change, as a system that does nothing but repeatedly take, causes its own demise.
No. Reading my books is not a requirement to join the project, nor would it ever be. That people want to give of themselves, their gifts and experiences, is enough.
No. SOL stand for Students of the Law. What Law? The first and foremost law is love, which is what all of creation is based on. From this One Law, all of the other laws which create everything we see, derive their power. This power is based on equal interchange between opposite energies to create balance-Nature works (and therefore creates) via the same principles. There is a great deal more information about this in the first book (WAWR 101), but again, reading the material is not a requirement for giving from the heart.
Yes. Whenever I receive feedback on a SOL Project member, it immediately goes onto thier own personal page under the SOL Project Listings tab.
For those not familiar with my written work, I want to take a moment to express the fundamental principle behind why I created the SOL Project: DHARMA.
We hear a great deal (repeatedly) about Karma--if we do something bad, something bad will happen to us. There's a great deal more behind this, to the degree that we might be putting the cart before the horse.
Every human being on this planet, came here to *offer* something to the overall experience of the collective. Something important. We did NOT just come here to experience the wrath or clearing of Karma.
If you're not familiar with the term DHARMA, I strongly recommend giving it a good google. In short, it means that in many respects, you and I are all integral peices of a trancendental puzzle, trying to put itself together through us. That is to say, not only are you and I the peices that each co-create the overall picture, but we consciously chose to BE those peices...there is no outside "puzzle person" trying to put it all together. This would be the same idea as dumping a 7 billion peice puzzle out onto a table called earth, and watching them "self-organize" because they know/remember where they all go.
This, is DHARMA--individual purpose or duty. Our individual purpose(s) or duties (contributions to the collective) have a two-fold purpose:
One of the first things this simple realization should teach us, is that throwing certain peices away because we believe they aren't equally as important as our own, is absurd. Not just absurd, but also entirely anithetical and detrimental to the entire collective and it's evolution. I'll provide some quick examples.
Can you imagine if trees refused to grow, because they would rather be grass? What if the Sun decided it wanted to be a Moon instead? Because the outcome of the full picture is entirely dependant on each peice playing it's proper part, it's not difficult to see how the refusal to do so can cause endless problems in a deeply layered and fully interdependant reality of existence. What if every incarnated soul who agreed to play the role of a doctor or healer, all decided to play baseball instead? Or the dolphins all decided to become moss?
There is another side to this equation, absolutely, and while the phrase is used often, Dharma is an all to often overlooked part: "Remember Who You Are". What i'm hoping people will consider, is not just who they are as eternal souls, but also who they agreed to be, here, in the material world.
Do you know what you came here to *give*? Do you know your purpose? And further, if we spent more time on understanding and performing our purpose or Dharma, how much "bad Karma" would there even be?
This is the fundamental, or rather intended, purpose of creating the SOL Project. Yes, the mission statement clearly says, "See a Need, Fill A Need," but there's a great deal of depth to it.
Sure, I don't have to be a 'chef' in this lifetime to feed my starving neighbors...that's a simple issue of morality and a need that almost anyone can fill. Yet i'm hopeful that each of you will take the time to discover, at the soulular (not cellular) level, why it is that you were designed the way you are!
Among so many other things, the Sacred Science taught me to understand that creation(s) all have a purpose, and one is NEVER more important than the others. They are all here, because they are all necessary...this includes you!
Having said that, do I dare claim that every member who has joined the SOL Project knows with 100% certainty that what they are offering, is what they were always meant to? I would never be so bold as to make that assertion, and here's why.
One of the other many lessons I learned, is that we don't always know who we are before we do the work and get involved, but rather we learn because we did the work and got involved. Maybe one if them was always supposed to meet you, and through that seemingly chance encounter, you would center one another. That's not only my hope, but my suspicion as well. :) I've seen it happen too many times to believe it's all coincidence.
Nevertheless, because again, the Universe doesn't make mistakes, some of our fellow puzzle peices have the unique ability to help us see which place or path is ours--that's where they fit in. If you would like help in this regard you can reach me via the Contact Page and I'll put you in touch with the individual that initially started me on my own path. She's exceptionally good at what she does, as some of you reading this may already know.
This project isn't merely centered on depending less on an artificial construct like money, and more on a self-balancing system like barter, but also about finding ways to coax people into gaining a deeper understanding of the Self in this life, what Self came to offer, and how the entire collective benefits from it.
Addtionally, the original intent behind barter, was equally focused along these lines in the sense that MOST people DO NOT BELIEVE they have anything meaningful to offer others. This has never been the case, and that's a BIG part of remembering who we are. If a transaction depended on two-way giving, both parties would soon be examing what they really have to offer the other. That can be a very centering exercise in itself.
To that end, whether you feel you're ready to join the SOL Project or not, I hope you'll atleast take the others up on their own unique and heart felt offerings...
Blessings on your journey, wherever it may take you. -Crystal Clark
